The Debt and Insolvency Services Stakeholder Forum (DISSF) offers a central, collaborative body of expertise on debt and insolvency matters for Scotland:
-
To ensure that the needs of our customers and the debt services industry are met with a cohesive and informed response through effective representation
-
To support Accountant in Bankruptcy in fulfilling its commitment to ensure access to fair and just processes of debt relief and debt management for the people of Scotland
DISSF represents the Agency's broad stakeholder base from the money advice sector, insolvency, law, finance and banking, local authority and sister government departments to ensure we are listening and working with those impacted by the work of AiB.
DISSF follows on from the Implementation - Business User Group, which was created in response to the implementation challenges of the Bankruptcy and Diligence etc (Scotland) Act 2007. The evolution of this group into DISSF ensures all stakeholder needs, demands and expectations are considered by AiB across all areas of the Agency's remit.
