This guidance describes the general functions of Accountant in Bankruptcy, interim trustees, trustees and commissioners in relation to their responsibilities regarding bankruptcies which started on or after 30 November 2016.

14.5 Accountant in Bankruptcy appointment as new trustee: review and appeal (147B)

The trustee may apply to the AiB for a review of a decision to not grant the application.

The debtor and creditors may apply to the AiB for a review of a decision to grant the application.

A review request must be made within 14 days beginning with the day of notification of the decision.
