PTD Bulletin - Autumn 2024

Hello and welcome to the next edition of the PTD Bulletin.

The team have been working hard with the trustee organisations to ensure everyone is settling in well with the new review process. The response and completion time has improved greatly and I understand all involved prefer scheduling dates in advance for these reviews.

We have also been liaising with trustees to reduce the number of older PTD's still being administered. If you are still administering PTD's which were protected prior to 31 March 2017, we encourage you to keep moving towards closure as soon as possible.

The PTD regulation amendments came into force on 1 July 2024 which included some of the PTD Protocol requirements and a few other new legislative requirements. An overview is provided within the policy update section.
