Strategic aim

We will ensure Scottish insolvency and debt management legislation and services effectively address the challenges society face today. We will also provide a service for debt management and debt relief which remains fit for the current climate.

We provide a better service for everyone and develop the services that people need, in partnership with them.

Objective

We will apply reforms to help reduce impact on the most vulnerable groups before entering and during statutory debt management and debt relief products. 

What we will do

• commence preparation for the next insolvency service contract
• take action based upon the outcome of the MacDermid stage 3 review of insolvency products and how they meet the needs of a modern economy
• as part of the flexible working week, drive to maintain or improve our performance against our key performance indicators
