Three year strategy setting out how we will communicate effectively with all who use our services
Website
Our newly designed website launched in January 2024. It is primarily a hub for our stakeholders to gain access to the information they need to fulfil their role when assisting those in a statutory debt solution.
Prior to the build, industry experts and stakeholders recognised that our previous website was no longer serving those who used it with the best online experience. It was agreed that there should be a clear divide between the information contained on the AiB website and the Scottish Government website gov.scot. The mygov.scot website should be recognised as the sole source of information for money and debt advice.
Built using the Digital Scotland Design System, our website is a leading example across the Scottish Government and allows the user a fully accessible experience.
This strategy will support further enhancements to the overall user experience by doing the following:
- all new website content to be built based on user feedback and by adopting a digital first approach
- all new publications created on HTML by default
- existing publications to be reviewed and revamped following content design principles
- aim to have all corporate publications available in HTML
- retention and review policy to be enhanced to ensure efficient housekeeping practices are adhered to
- continue to work closely with website supplier to identify any areas of improvements to be implemented via the design system
